Family Law Mediation Fees & Scheduling
Practical information about requesting, scheduling, and confirming a family law mediation with KSL Mediation.
Family Law Mediation Fees & Scheduling
KSL Mediation uses a structured scheduling process designed to give attorneys, parties and the mediator adequate time to prepare for a productive family law mediation.
Requesting a Date
The mediation intake allows prospective participants to provide matter information and identify preferred mediation dates. As our calendar integration develops, available dates will be displayed based on the authorized calendar availability of the attorney-mediator assigned to the mediation.
Requested Does Not Mean Reserved
Selecting or requesting a date does not lock that date.
Mediation availability remains subject to change until the applicable payment process has been completed by both sides and the KSL Care Team confirms the date.
Why Mediation Dates Require Lead Time
The scheduling process must allow reasonable time for counsel and participants to prepare and for the mediator to review mediation materials. Accordingly, available mediation dates are offered on a rolling basis with an appropriate lead-time window.
Payment and Confirmation
The Care Team handles the payment and final confirmation process. Specific fee and payment information applicable to a mediation will be communicated through that process.
After Confirmation
Once a mediation date is confirmed, participants and counsel will receive the applicable logistical information and instructions concerning mediation materials.
